Abstract/Notes Chiropractors in Alabama battled long and hard for legitimacy. As one of the last five unlicensed states, it was where many gave so much in the extended struggle. Finding an honest candidate to support for governor was the final act in the ongoing drama that was played out on “Goat Hill” in Montgomery.
