Abstract/Notes | This article provides a brief overview of magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) of the cervical spine for the clinician. A basic review of MRI physics is followed by a discussion of the most common imaging sequences. The indications for contrast are outlined along with contraindications. Finally, a review of cervical spine anatomy is correlated with annotated images. This abstract is reproduced with the permission of the publisher; full text by subscription.
