Abstract/Notes | In 2015, Cai, et al, conducted a meta-analysis of 18 studies that revealed a high risk of spine fracture in PPI users. This meta-analysis provided evidence to support that both proton pump inhibitors and histamine 2 blockers were associated with increased risk of fracture.
