Abstract/Notes

A controlled study of the reliability of clinical muscle testing as an index of nutritional assessment is presented. Both participating clinicans and patients were unaware of the nature of substances being tested for their effect on the latissimus dorsi muscle. Previously identified "weak" muscles were used to observe for a "strengthening" effect as a result of topical and subligual exposure to specific nutrtitional supplements.
