Abstract/Notes

This paper examines in part, the legal position of the chiropractor related to the issues of motor vehicle accidents, personal injury litigation, and no-fault benefits. Insurance limitations and benefits under the Standard Automobile Policy regulated within the Insurance Act are reviewed and the concepts of reasonable, necessary, essential and therapeutic treatment are discussed. The nature of fees and assignment of payment are considered.
