Abstract/Notes

Objective: This case documents improvements in subjective and objective outcomes in a 5-year-old girl with a CASK gene mutation undergoing chiropractic care.

Clinical Features: A 5-year-old girl with a CASK gene mutation presented to the office with complaints of poor sleep, poor self-regulation, allergies, poor digestion, and poor language integration. Additionally, the patient exhibited global hypotonia and gross motor delays.

Intervention & Outcomes: The analysis and technique system utilized are described in addition to outcome assessments including spinal thermography. The patient was under care over the course of three months and her mother reported observations as care progressed.

Conclusion: This case demonstrates improvement in many subjective outcomes and resolution of symptoms as subluxations were reduced and autonomic tone was progressively balanced.
