Abstract/Notes | Objective: To report on the positive health outcomes in a child with ADHD following the use of specific chiropractic adjustments, primitive reflex integration exercises, and the use of the Interactive Metronome. Clinical Features: An 11-year-old male diagnosed with ADHD, positive retained primitive reflexes and low scores on the Interactive Metronome. Intervention & Outcomes: The child was compliant on chiropractic care visit recommendations, rehabilitation of his retained reflexes, and disciplined usage of the Interactive Metronome home version. After reexams at visit 12 and 24, he showed marked improvements in behavior as well as decreases in his retained primitive reflexes and increases in his Interactive Metronome scores. Conclusion: Utilizing non-invasive methods such as chiropractic adjustments, retained primitive reflex rehabilitation, and Interactive Metronome helped establish improvement in a child previously diagnosed with ADHD.
