Objective: To describe the positive health outcomes following chiropractic in an elderly male suffering from balance and coordination disorder and to review the relevant literature.

Clinical Features: A 65-year-old retired male presented to a chiropractic clinic with insidious onset balance and coordination problems.

Interventions and Outcomes: The patient received high velocity, low amplitude chiropractic adjustments following the Activator Methods Chiropractic Technique. The patient demonstrated improved balance, ability to complete neurological tests during the re-physical examination that he was unable to complete during the initial exam and experienced increased sensation in his feet bilaterally.

Conclusions: Chiropractic adjustments were beneficial for a 65-year-old male with balance and coordination deficits. The research is limited regarding chiropractic care for geriatric patients with balance disorders. Additional research should be conducted to further evaluate the effectiveness of chiropractic management for these patients.
