In this imaging case review, we provide an account of a rare anatomical variant that was discovered incidentally during a routine computed tomography (CT) scan and subsequently confirmed with magnetic resonance imaging (MRI). This case marks the first description of a duplicated renal vein traversing through a lumbar vertebral body, an unusual anatomical phenomenon that has not been previously reported in the medical literature.
