Abstract/Notes Iliopsoas injuries can be the bane of runners and track and field athletes, jumpers, gymnasts, ballet dancers, female soccer players, and others who push themselves to excel in sports that demand repeated hip flexion. Today, this syndrome is also showing up in a much larger segment of the population—in people who demand far too little of their thighs and hips. Stephen Perle, DC, MS, and Philip Santiago, DC, DACBSP, share their iliopsoas expertise.
