Abstract/Notes Oswald Hall, PhD, an outstanding, pioneer Canadian sociologist who served our profession well for twenty-five years, used to say that “History is telling it like it was.”

This paper tells the story of how “it was” Canadians got involved with the creation of the Association for the History of Chiropractic in the United States and subsequently formed the Canadian Chiropractic Historical Association. It begins with the Palmer College of Chiropractic and ends with the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College and the importance of its Library and Archives to the success of this venture.
