Abstract/Notes

The June 2014 issue of Topics in Integrative Health Care presents articles of interest to clinicians, particularly those with a focus on neuromusculoskeletal conditions. This issue’s articles are international in scope, and present research on widely diverse topics. Lyndon G. Amorin-Woods, BAppSci (Chiropractic) and colleagues contribute a set of recommendations to the Musculoskeletal Health Network of the Health Department of Western Australia, developed through the efforts of the Chiropractors Association of Australia. John Ward, DC, MA, MS, and colleagues present their research investigating the effect of a supportive pad on upper extremity blood flow of participants wearing a military backpack. Martha A. Kaeser, MA, DC, and colleagues examine the difference in student knowledge retention in traditional vs modified problem-based learning activities. Finally, Stefanie Coforio, DC, MS, and colleagues present a case report on the conservative treatment of chronic traumatic ankle arthropathy.
