Abstract/Notes

Excerpt: In this commentary, we discuss what is meant by evidence-based practice, how we can reconcile our clinical experience with research evidence, and how we can integrate patient preference and circumstance in our clinical decisions. We do so by answering a series of questions commonly asked by clinicians and present examples, in an effort to clarify key principles of evidence-based practice.
