Abstract/Notes

Objective:  To demonstrate the outcome of chiropractic adjustments on a patient with low back pain and structural deviation of the lumbar spine using Chiropractic Biophysics Technique (CBP).

Clinical Features: A 54-year-old male presented with a deviation in thoracolumbar region, abnormal posture, anterior head translation, and nagging pain in right sacroiliac joint.

Intervention and Outcomes: Within the 16 weeks of care, the patient had a total of 20 visits utilizing Chiropractic Biophysics Technique. Radiographs were initially taken and were compared to post radiographs. During care, the patient’s right thoracic translation was decreased and abnormal posture and pain, improved.

Conclusion: The patient presenting with right thoracic translation, right pelvic flexion, anterior head translation and abnormal posture received chiropractic care under the standard protocol of Chiropractic Biophysics technique. Post radiographs demonstrated a restoration of the spine to a neutral position and an improvement in abnormal posture. Further research is encouraged.
