Abstract/Notes

Abstract: Chiropractors in Mississippi were licensed in 1973, the next-to-last state to achieve that milestone. An internal dispute among chiropractors over the propriety of advertising hampered efforts by the profession. This is a first-person account of that struggle by the first chiropractor appointed to that state's board of chiropractic examiners.
