Abstract/Notes

Objective: To describe peer-reviewed literature and other sources regarding primary care training for Chiropractic Physicians.

Discussion: A search of PubMed and other sources including Governmental Agencies. A total of 165 articles were screened with 30 deemed eligible. This paper looks at different routes for residency and fellowship programs for the chiropractic profession in the United States.

Conclusion: There is a potential pathway for chiropractic physicians to become trained and credentialed as primary care providers within credentialed Federally Qualified Health Centers.
